THE WONDERFUL WORD OF GOD

II Timothy 3:16-17

I. THE WORD OF GOD IS INSPIRED

1. The origin of Scripture is of God
2. The preservation of Scripture is of God

II. THE WORD OF GOD IS PROFITABLE

1. For doctrine – it teaches us the truth
2. For reproof – it shows us where we’re wrong
3. For correction – it show us how to make it right
4. For instruction in righteousness – it show us how to stay right

III. THE WORD OF GOD IS SUFFICIENT

1. So that a person may be complete
2. So that a person may be equipped for every good work

Conclusion: Hear it, read it, study it, memorize it, meditate on it . . . then OBEY it (James 1:22)
