Counseling & Personal Discipleship
Jesus final words to His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 were
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
These words are our Lord’s Great Commission, and they shape our lives as believers and our ministry as His church. We are committed to evangelism to see our Savior rescue lost sinners, and we are committed to personal discipleship to see Him grow us in all the things He commanded us. We believe this growth comes as more mature believers mentor younger believers, and so we emphasize the importance of building mentoring relationships in our church.
Biblical Counseling
There come times of crisis or struggle in every disciple’s life, so we also emphasize the importance of counseling, or focused discipleship. Our pastors as well as several of our members are trained Biblical counselors capable of helping people center on Christ even in life’s most challenging circumstances.
