2.      He demanded more evidence

3.      He determined to put conditions on God

4.      He decided not to believe

B.      (v.26-28) Thomas’s belief

1.      Jesus confronts Thomas in love

2.      Thomas confesses Jesus in faith

a.      What Thomas saw – a man standing before him alive, bearing the marks of His own brutal death

b.      What Thomas did -  He believed and expressed it

II. (v.29-31) THE APPLICATION TO US

A.      Thomas’s experience CANNOT be the same for us

We have two advantages that Thomas didn’t have:

1.      The accurate record of the word of God

2.      The powerful work of the Spirit of God

B.      Thomas’s conclusion MUST be the same for us
