1. (John 1:14) So that in His life we could see His glory
2. (Romans 5:8) So that in His death He could be our substitute

II.  THE SYMBOLS OF JESUS’ FLESH AND BLOOD

1. (I Corinthians 11:24) The bread represents His body which was broken
2. (I Corinthians 11:25) the cup represents His blood which was shed

Conclusion: (I Corinthians 11:24b,25b) Do this in remembrance of Jesus
