I.  WE ARE FREE FROM THE CONDEMNATION OF SIN

     A. (v.1) God doesn’t condemn us for our sins

     B. (v.3) God condemned Christ for our sins

 1. We were guilty – could not keep the law because of the weakness of our flesh

 2. God sent His own Son

 3. The Son was in the likeness of sinful flesh

 4. The Son came on account of sin

 5. God condemned sin in the flesh (of Christ)

II.  WE ARE FREE FROM THE CONTROL OF SIN

     *The key – the Spirit

      A. (v.2) We are free from the power of sin

      B.  (v.4) We are free to live righteously
