WHY BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

Acts 26:24-32

Introduction: Acts 26:1-23 Paul shares how he became a Christian with Festus and Agrippa:

  1. (v.1-11) Before conversion, Paul was a great sinner
  2. (v.12-15) At conversion, Paul met a great Savior
  3. (v.16-23) After conversion, Paul became a great servant

I. (v.24-26) FAITH IN CHRIST IS DEFENSIBLE

  2. Paul stands for the message

  1. With intimidation
  2. With name calling
  3. With discrediting

  1. The message is true
  2. The message is reasonable
  3. The message is verifiable

II. (v.27-32) FAITH IN CHRIST IS DESIRABLE

  1. Agrippa avoids the subject
  2. Paul shares his heart

  1. (v.28) A quick switch
  2. (v.30-31) A quick exit

  1. He acknowledges that being a Christian isn’t easy.
  2. He affirms that being a Christian is totally worth it.
