Two huge benefits are available to those who have been born again

I.  (v.3-5) THE RESURRECTED CHRIST OFFERS GENUINE HOPE

1. (v.4) We can be confident that He will guarantee our inheritance
2. (v.5) We can be confident that He will guard us

II.  (v.6-9) THE RESURRECTED CHRIST OFFERS GREAT JOY

1. (v.6-7) Even though right now we have trials
2. (v.8) Even though right now we can’t see Him
