LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

John 14:1

I. JESUS TOLD HIS DISCIPLES THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT THEY WOULD FACE

1. They would watch Jesus die
2. They would fail  Him
3. Satan would work to destroy them – Luke 22:13
4. The world would hate them – John 15:18-20

1. John 13:33 – He would no longer be physically with them
2. Matthew 20:17-19 – He would be arrested and crucified

1. John 13:21 – one of them would betray Him
2. John 13:38 – Peter would deny Him
3. Matthew 26:31 – they would all forsake Him

II.  JESUS TOLD HIS DISCIPLES THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW THEY COULD FACE IT

1. What not to do – Let not your heart be troubled
2. What to do – believe in Me
